ZIP Fulfillment — where you stand online, and what we'd fix first

You've been on Evolve hosting for a while, so we pulled together the review we'd want if we were in your seat. The short version: the promises on your homepage are better than most national 3PLs can make, and almost nobody searching for a Charlotte fulfillment partner can find them yet.

Prepared for ZIP Fulfillment, LLC · 200 Forsyth Hall Dr, Suite E, Charlotte, NC 28273Site reviewed zipfulfillment.comDate September 2026By Evolve Digital Marketing

Snapshot scorecard

Scored 1–5 from what we could observe from outside. Items we couldn't verify from the public web are marked to confirm — we'll check them server-side on your Evolve account.

2/5
Website
Strong message, but only 3 pages, no address/phone, and the site answered slowly or not at all on roughly two of three fetches.
1/5
SEO
~3 URLs in Google's index, generic page titles, no "Charlotte" anywhere in the copy we captured.
1/5
Google Business Profile
No profile surfaced for ZIP Fulfillment at Forsyth Hall Dr — other tenants at the address do show up.
2/5
Social
A LinkedIn company page exists; no Facebook or Instagram found; posting cadence to confirm.
2/5
Tracking
Analytics and conversion tags couldn't be read from outside to confirm; the quote form is the only conversion and nothing visibly measures it.

What's working

Worth saying out loud before the findings, because it's the raw material everything below builds on.

  • The homepage stats are genuinely differentiating. "76% of the US population in 2 days, 99.76% in 3-day ground", same-day shipment on orders by 2pm, 24-hour receiving, 48-hour returns — these are specific, provable, and better copy than most competitors' pages.
  • Clear positioning. D2C e-commerce brands from startup to established, two strategic hubs, proprietary WMS with API and EDI, blind/branded shipping, fixed-rate transparent pricing. A buyer knows in ten seconds whether you're for them.
  • HTTPS is in place and Google has indexed the site under the secure URL.
  • Eight years in business (founded 2018) in Charlotte — a credibility signal that isn't on the page yet.

Website findings

Starting with the one that's on us to check first.

High · we're on it

The site responded intermittently during our review

Roughly two of every three requests to zipfulfillment.com (including robots.txt) timed out. That pattern usually points to a slow or overloaded hosting response, a bot/firewall rule, or a plugin doing too much work on every page load. As your host, the server side is ours to diagnose — we'll run uptime and time-to-first-byte checks on the Evolve server and read the logs before recommending anything. to confirm

Fix: 7-day uptime/TTFB monitor, server log review, caching layer and PHP/WordPress version check, then a written result either way.
High

No phone, email or street address on the homepage or contact page

The contact page is a headline ("Ready to Ship? Let's Get Started") and a form. A buyer comparing 3PLs wants to know you're a real warehouse in a real place, and Google wants a consistent name/address/phone to connect you to a map listing. Two phone numbers circulate on third-party listings (704-322-3737 and 704-322-3595) — we'd confirm the live line with you first.

Fix: Address, phone, hours and an embedded map on the contact page and in the site footer; LocalBusiness schema behind it.
Medium

"Transparent, fixed-rate pricing" — but there's no pricing page

The site makes a pricing promise and then only offers a quote form. Even a page that explains how the fixed-rate model works (what's included per order, storage, receiving, returns) with a "get your rate" CTA would convert better and rank for pricing searches.

Fix: A pricing-model page with a simple per-order estimator or worked example, feeding the same quote form.
Medium

API / EDI and a proprietary WMS are headline claims with no integrations page

Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, BigCommerce and EDI logos are standard on 3PL sites because buyers filter on "do you connect to my store". We found none. Which platforms you actually support is to confirm.

Fix: An "Integrations" page with platform logos, a short how-it-works, and a link to the quote form.
Medium

Only three pages exist in Google's index — home, About Us, Contact

No blog, news, resources, case studies or service-specific pages surfaced. That's the reason organic visibility is close to zero: there's nothing for a search to land on except the homepage.

Fix: Content build-out — see the SEO section and 90-day plan.
Low

No social links, chat widget or scheduling on the site

The quote form is the only way in. With the VP of Sales & Marketing seat appearing vacant since 2024 (per third-party data — to confirm), every lead that lands in an inbox needs a follow-up path.

Fix: Form → CRM automation with an instant acknowledgement and a "book a 15-minute call" link.
Low · to confirm

Analytics, tags, theme and SSL certificate details couldn't be read from outside

Because page source wasn't retrievable during the review, we can't yet say what's installed. We'll check on the server.

Fix: Server-side review of GA4 / Tag Manager / conversion tracking and certificate renewal settings.

SEO findings

Everything here is a gap, which is the good news — nothing is broken that needs undoing.

High

Competitors own "Charlotte 3PL" and "fulfillment services Charlotte"; ZIP has no page for it

ShipBob, Selery, Speed Commerce, The Fulfillment Lab and UNIS all rank with dedicated Charlotte landing pages. Your site doesn't use the word "Charlotte" in any copy we captured.

Fix: A "Charlotte, NC e-commerce fulfillment" page anchored on your address, hubs and the 2-day-reach map.
High

Page titles are generic

"ZIP Fulfillment", "About Us - ZIP Fulfillment", "Contact - ZIP Fulfillment". No keyword or geography in any of them.

Fix: e.g. "E-commerce Order Fulfillment & 3PL in Charlotte, NC | ZIP Fulfillment"; meta descriptions built from the homepage stats to confirm current descriptions.
Medium

No service-specific pages

Shopify fulfillment, Amazon FBA prep, subscription-box fulfillment, kitting, returns management — each is a search a D2C brand actually types, and each is a page you don't have.

Fix: Five service pages, one per search intent, each ending in the quote form.
Medium

No blog means no long-tail content

"How to choose a 3PL", "fulfillment cost per order", "what is a 2pm cutoff" — questions your sales conversations already answer, unwritten.

Fix: Two posts a month, drawn from real client questions.
Low · to confirm

Structured data likely absent

With no name/address/phone on-page, LocalBusiness/Organization schema is probably missing too. The homepage's stat-heavy copy is good raw material for rich results once it's marked up.

Fix: Organization + LocalBusiness + FAQ schema during the contact-page rebuild.

Google Business Profile

Status: not found. Searching for ZIP Fulfillment at 200 Forsyth Hall Dr returns other tenants at the address (JDS Industries shows on map listings) but no ZIP profile — either unclaimed, never created, or not indexed to confirm. There's no rating, review count or category to report because there's no listing to hold them. A Slotted.com 3PL marketplace listing exists for Charlotte, NC, but we couldn't read its content.

For a warehouse business, a missing profile means you're invisible in the map pack for "fulfillment center near me", "3PL Charlotte" and every branded search where a buyer just wants your phone number.

What we'd set up in the first two weeks

  • Claim / create the profile at Suite E with the live phone line, hours and the website link tagged ?utm_source=google&utm_medium=gbp so visits show in analytics.
  • Categories: Fulfillment Center (primary), Logistics Service, Warehouse, E-commerce Service.
  • Services list mirroring the site: order fulfillment, receiving, returns, kitting, blind shipping, EDI.
  • Photos: dock, pick line, packing stations, branded boxes — 10–15 real photos, not stock.
  • Q&A seeded with the questions you get on every quote call (cutoff time, integrations, minimums).
  • Posts: one per week — a shipped-volume milestone, an integration, a client story.
  • Reviews: a two-line ask sent to your happiest brands; a response template so every review gets answered inside 48 hours (your own returns promise, applied to reviews).

Social

Found: a LinkedIn company page (linkedin.com/company/zip-fulfillment) — follower count and last post to confirm, the page wasn't readable from outside. Not found: Facebook, Instagram. For a B2B 3PL selling to D2C brand founders, LinkedIn is the right primary channel and Instagram is the right secondary one (that's where your clients live).

Paid search — a starter concept

Organic will take a quarter to move. Paid can put the 2-day-reach message in front of a Shopify founder this week. Budget and geography are yours to set; this is the shape.

90-day plan

Three phases, each mapped to an Evolve service. Nothing here depends on a redesign — it's additive to the site you have.

Days 1–30 · Foundation

Stabilise, get found locally

  • Hosting review — uptime/TTFB monitoring, caching, WordPress and PHP updates, log review, written result.
  • Google Business Profile — claim, categories, photos, services, UTM link, review-ask template.
  • Contact page + footer — address, phone, hours, map, LocalBusiness schema.
  • Tracking — GA4 + Tag Manager, quote-form conversion, call tracking on the new number.
Days 31–60 · Build

Pages worth ranking

  • Web content build-out — Charlotte fulfillment page, pricing-model page, integrations page, five service pages.
  • On-page SEO — titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, Organization/FAQ schema.
  • Lead automation — form to Dynamics CRM (to confirm) with instant reply and call-booking link.
Days 61–90 · Amplify

Traffic and proof

  • Google Ads — the three campaigns above, starting with Charlotte/Southeast.
  • Content & social — two blog posts a month, the LinkedIn/Instagram mix, weekly GBP post.
  • Proof on the page — publish live SLA numbers from the BICS portal on the homepage.

What BICS adds

Your whole pitch is four numbers — same-day by 2pm, 24-hour receiving, 48-hour returns, 76% of the country in two days. Our sister firm BI Consulting Services has drafted a client-facing SLA portal that pulls those numbers straight from your WMS, carrier tracking and returns data so every brand you serve can see them live, and so your homepage can show them instead of just claiming them. The sample dashboard and a one-page integration concept (WMS + carriers + Dynamics CRM → Power BI portal) are attached alongside this audit.
